Landing ship Pyotr Morgunov handed over to Russian Navy

United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) Yantar Baltic Shipbuilding Plant has handed over the newbuild large landing ship Pyotr Morgunov to the Russian Navy.

The vessel is the second to be built under the Project 11711 series, also known as the Ivan Gren-class.

Pyotr Morgunov measures 120 by 16 metres and is capable of transporting up to 13 main battle tanks or 36 armoured personnel carriers as well as 300 troops.
