Yantar Baltic Shipbuilding Plant recently laid the keels of the Project 11711 landing ships Vladimir Andreyev and Vasily Trushin.

The vessels will be the final two units of four Project 11711 or Ivan Gren-class ships.

Unlike their two earlier sisters, the newer ships will have flight decks capable of accommodating Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopters.

Vladimir Andreyev and Vasily Trushin are scheduled to be delivered to the Russian Navy in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
