Factory trials begin for Russia’s third Project 12700 minesweeper

United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant has begun conducting factory sea trials of the future Russian Navy minesweeper Vladimir Yemel'yanov.

The trials are being carried out in the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic Sea and are expected to last a month and a half.

Delivery of the future Vladimir Yemel'yanov is scheduled for December 2019. It is the third minesweeper to be built under Project 12700.
