The Egyptian Navy has taken delivery of the second ship in the El Fateh-class of corvettes.

The future ENS Port Said is also the first of three El Fateh-class ships to be built in Egypt, having been completed at Alexandria Shipyard. Like its sisters, it is a variant of the 2,500-tonne Gowind-class corvettes developed by France's Naval Group.

The future Port Said measures 102 metres long and has a speed of 28 knots. Armament includes a 76-millimetre naval gun, surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship missiles, and torpedoes.
