BAE Systems has delivered the River-class offshore patrol vessel (OPV) HMS Spey to the Royal Navy at its base in Portsmouth.

The vessel is the final one of five Batch 2 River-class ships designed and built by BAE Systems for the Royal Navy.

Among Spey's notable features is a urea filter which reduces NOx emissions from the diesel generators by as much as 90 per cent.
