Two new training vessels delivered to Indonesian Navy

The Indonesian Navy recently took delivery of two training/patrol vessels built by Karimun Anugrah Sejati shipyard in Batam.

Named Kadet-6 and Kadet-7, the vessels will be used in training future navy officers while also providing patrol support to the fleet.

Each vessel has a length of 45 metres, a width of 4.25 metres, and twin Cummins KTA 50 M2 1,340kW engines delivering a cruise speed of 16 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots.

Delivery of Kadet-6 and Kadet-7 comes less than three months after the completion of sea trials.
