Gemini Marine Boats of South Africa has delivered two rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) to the Royal Navy's Tyneside shore facility in Gateshead.
The boats will be used to train Royal Navy reservists in skills such as seamanship and navigation before they proceed to seagoing billets.
The navy intends to operate the RIBs on the River Tyne and the UK northeast coast following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
