Malaysian offshore operator Yinson Holdings has placed an order for a new self-propelled rescue boat from Austrian deck machinery specialist Palfinger.

The boat will be carried aboard Anna Nery, a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel that will be operated in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.

The contract between Yinson and Palfinger also covers the supply of four 75-person lifeboats, cranes, and davits for installation on the FPSO.
