Last spring, Bay Weld Boats delivered a new fleet of oil spill response vessels to Cook Inlet Spill Prevention and Response Incorporated (CISPRI) in Alaska.
The four vessels will be used in spill response training and operations.
Each boat is powered by a Cummins QSB 6.7L and an Ultra-Jet 305HT waterjet and is outfitted with a fully engineered and integrated lifting frame, electronics package, and comfortable heated cabin.
The vessels measure in at seven metres long and 2.9 metres wide.
They are capable of reaching a top speed of 29 knots and each has a bollard pull of 1.7 tonnes.
