The Orkney Islands Council will take delivery of two escort tugs in a series from Turkey's Sanmar Shipyards later this week.
Designed by Robert Allan Ltd, Odin of Scapa and Thor of Scapa each have a length of 32 metres, a bollard pull of 80 tonnes, and firefighting equipment.
The tugs will be homeported at Scapa Flow.
