The Nigerian Ports Authority has commissioned its two newest harbour tugs into service.

Musawa (pictured) and Ikoro-Ekiti both utilise a Damen design with an LOA of 28.67 metres, a beam of 10.43 metres, a draught of 4.9 metres, and onboard firefighting equipment.

Twin MTU engines give each tug a bollard pull of 60 tonnes and a speed of 13.5 knots.
