Nansha Public Security Bureau takes delivery of 45m patrol boat

The Nansha Public Security Bureau has taken delivery of a new patrol boat from Jianglong Shipbuilding.

The patrol boat has a length of 45.5 metres, a beam of 7.6 metres, a draught of 1.75 metres, and a displacement of approximately 247 tonnes. Two diesel engines deliver a speed of 24 knots.

The vessel also has daytime and thermal imaging cameras for monitoring illegal activity, a firefighting pump, and equipment for search and rescue (SAR) operations.

The Nansha Marine Police will use the boat on patrols in the waters surrounding the Nansha free trade zone.
