Delo signs contract with Damen for sixth ASD tug

Russia's Delo Service Company has signed a contract with Damen Shipyards Group for the delivery of an ASD tug.

The vessel will be the sixth ASD tug in a series bought by Delo from Damen and will bear the name Delovoy-6.

The 50-tonne bollard pull tug will be used for towing, mooring, firefighting, and a wide range of additional harbour tasks at the grain and container terminals owned by DeloPorts at the Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea.

Delivery is scheduled for 2021.
