

Australia: A Sydney ferry and a speedboat collision on Parramatta River has resulted in injuries to all six of the speedboat passengers.
The accident occurred at Meadowbank Wharf at about 4.35pm on October 7 when a ferry and a speedboat collided about 100 metres from the shore.
Four passengers were trapped under the hull of the ferry and were comforted by a policewoman who rushed to the scene.
The ferry was moved to the Blaxland Road boat ramp where those trapped were were freed and treated at the scene by paramedics.
Sydney Ferries said the incident had not involved a RiverCat, as first reported by police.
A spokeswoman said the vessel had been hired by Sydney Ferries from a private company to augment passenger services on the day.
