Stena RoRo ferry to sail under new ownership following refit

Stena RoRo has converted the 2002-built day ferry Stena Superfast X into a night ferry for use by its new owner, French shipping company Corsica Linea.

The conversion works, which were carried out in Piraeus over a span of three months, increased the number of passenger cabins onboard from 45 to 176. Of the additional cabins, 94 are newly built while 33 are former crew cabins converted to passenger cabins.

The ship has also been fitted with hybrid scrubbers and an exhaust gas treatment system that reduces emissions of sulphur into the air.

Stena Superfast X will be renamed A Nepita and will operate on Corsica Linea's Marseille-Corsica-North Africa route.
