Stena Line, Denmark's Frederikshavn Municipality, and the Port of Frederikshavn have entered into an agreement in which the parties commit to operating electric-powered Ro-Pax ferries on the Gothenburg-Frederikshavn route.

The vessels will each have a length of 200 metres and capacity for 1,000 passengers and up to 3,000 lane metres of freight.

Stena Line expects the ferries to be introduced on the route by 2030.
