The final one in a series of four hybrid electric Ro-Pax ferries ordered by Norwegian operator Norled has been completed at Poland's Remontowa Shipbuilding and has departed on its delivery voyage.

As with its three earlier sisters, Fodnes has an LOA of 114.4 metres, a beam of 17.7 metres, a draught of 3.7 metres, and capacity for 296 passengers and 120 vehicles. It is also capable of a top speed of 12.5 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots.

Design work on the ferry was carried out by Remontowa Marine Design and Consulting and Norway's LMG Marin.
