Spain's Armon Shipyard has launched a new Ro-Pax ferry ordered by French Polynesia operator SNGV2.

Designed by French naval architecture firm Mauric, Terevau Piti will have an LOA of 77 metres, a beam of 17 metres, a maximum draught of 3.8 metres, and capacity for 675 passengers and 500 lane metres of cargo once completed.

Once in service, the ferry will operate daily along the 12.5-nautical-mile route between the islands of Papeete and Moorea.
