Philippine shipowner Chelsea Logistics and Infrastructure Holdings Corporation (CLC), through subsidiary Trans-Asia Shipping Lines (TASLI), has entered into a 10-year bareboat charter agreement with Kumiai Senpaku's Southern Pacific Holding Corporation.

The object of the charter is a Ro-Pax ferry being constructed at Fukuoka Shipbuilding's facilities. Once completed, it will have a length of 123 metres and capacity for 1,085 passengers and up to 35 vehicles.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery to TASLI in 2020 and will be operated on the company's ferry routes in the Visayas and Mindanao island regions.
