Brittany Ferries took delivery of its newest LNG-fueled Ro-Pax vessel on Tuesday, November 30.

Built by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard Weihai with the cooperation of Sweden's Stena RoRo, Salamanca is the second of three E-Flexer-class ships ordered by Brittany Ferries. It will later sail to Europe with arrival scheduled for February 2022.

Salamanca will serve Brittany Ferries' UK-Spain routes alongside sister vessel Santona, which will join the fleet in 2023.

LNG bunkering terminals are being built in the ports of Bilbao and Santander to support the new ferry's operations.
