Keel laid for Russia’s first LNG-powered passenger vessel

Russia's Zelenodolsk Shipyard has laid the keel for a new Project 03622 river tour boat ordered by State Transport Leasing Company.

The tour boat, which will be named Chayka ("Seagull"), will be the first Russian-built passenger vessel to be powered by LNG.

The vessel is scheduled to be launched within the year.
