Chinese builder ODC Marine is building a new yacht support vessel to a design by French naval architects Mer Et Design.
Upon completion, the vessel will measure 18 by 4.7 metres and will have a crew of four and saloon seating for another seven people. Two Cummins engines driving propellers via ZF gearboxes will deliver a maximum speed of 20 knots.
The vessel will also be fitted with a galley, a laundry area, a crane for handling small craft such as jetskis and pontoon boats, and deck space for accommodating a midget submarine.
Delivery is scheduled for the summer of 2022.
