China's Jianglong Shipbuilding has begun construction on a new all-electric vessel for local tour operator Guangzhou Blue Dolphin Cruises.
The vessel will have an LOA of 38.8 metres, a beam of 12 metres, and capacity for 280 passengers.
Jianglong claims the tour boat will be the first all-electric passenger vessel to operate in the waters of the Dawan District between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
