Copenhagen-based Albatros Expeditions will soon begin operational sailings of Smilla, its newest sightseeing vessel, in the waters off Western Greenland.
In addition to featuring a passenger cabin, the vessel also has viewing areas on the bow, the stern, and the cabin roofdeck to provide unobstructed views of the surrounding waters and marine life.
Smilla will be operated out of the town of Ilulissat. It will sail in waters that have become popular for its many icebergs and for the humpback whales that swim through it particularly from late spring to late autumn.
