Construction is expected to start soon on the new public ferry terminal at the port of Gdynia in Poland.

The four-storey terminal building will have floor space of 5,472 square metres.

There is also an option to add one or two storeys and still be connected to the passenger gallery and ferry-boarding area.

The storage building, which will also serve as an administration and a customs warehouse, will have 884 square metres of floor space.

The passenger gallery to the ferry boarding area will be about 166 metres long.

Construction is expected to take 2.5 years according to the Port of Gdynia Authority.
