The Philippines' Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has taken delivery of a new catamaran ferry for operations along the 17-kilometre Pasig River.

The vessel has air-conditioned accommodations for up to 200 passengers and two 260kW engines that deliver a maximum speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Two more ferries from the same series are scheduled to be handed over to the MMDA in the coming weeks.
