Towage provider Kotug Seabulk Maritime (KSM) recently welcomed the 14.6-metre line handler Capt. Leroy (pictured) and the 15.2-metre catamaran KSM Speedy to its fleet of vessels that serve Grand Bahama island.

The line handler is named in honour of a KSM tug captain who was lost in a storm while off-duty on his pleasure boat.

In addition to line handling, Capt. Leroy is capable of cargo lifts and passenger transfers.

KSM Speedy, which was originally built in 2008 and acquired from another owner, operates as a pilot boat and passenger launch.

The two vessels join KSM's existing fleet of four tugs and a bunker barge. These will provide line handling and passenger transport services to Buckeye Bahamas Hub Terminal, the largest petroleum products terminal in the Western Hemisphere.
