New York-based Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises has accepted delivery of the 599-passenger Circle Line Liberty from Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding.
Circle Line Liberty is the third of three 599-passenger vessels built for Circle Line.
Designed by DeJong and Lebet, the 50.2-metre by 10.3-metre vessel is powered by twin Cummins diesel engines, delivering a total of 1,938kW and a top speed of 14 knots.
She is equipped with a 93kW Wesmar bowthruster, powered by an electric motor, for dockside manoeuvering.
Two 140kW gensets, powered by John Deere generator-drive engines, supply the ship's service power.
The cabins are equipped with double-glazed windows.
Heating and air-conditioning are supplied by a 271,000BTU diesel-fired boiler and six 10-tonne water-cooled chillers.
The crew room is outfitted with storage cabinets, a refrigerator, shower and walk-in cooler.
