Baleària has taken delivery of a fourth Eco-class passenger ferry built by Astilleros Gondán.
The ferry utilises a wave-piercing prow, which facilitates navigation in adverse conditions; photovoltaic solar panels that supply energy for on-board services and an eco-friendly fibreglass reinforced polyester hull.
In addition, they are powered by engines that minimise emissions of polluting gases.
The ferry was designed by Oliver Design.
Eco Aire entered operation on the Eivissa-Formentera line on July, 2.
The catamaran has a capacity for 350 people and a maximum speed of 28 knots.
