Mustai Karim, the first Project PV300 river cruise ship ordered for Russian operator Vodokhod, departed on its maiden voyage under its new owners on Saturday, August 22.
Built by United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard, the 329-passenger Mustai Karim was ordered by Mashpromlizing on behalf of Vodokhod, which will operate it on the Moscow-Astrakhan, Moscow-Saint Petersburg, and Moscow-Rostov-on-Don routes.
The vessel's route on its maiden voyage had stretched from Moscow to Saint Petersburg.
