Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady floated out

Scarlet Lady, a cruise ship being built for US-based Virgin Voyages, was floated out at Fincantieri's Genoa Sestri Ponente shipyard on Friday, February 8.

The vessel will have a gross displacement of 110,000 tonnes, a length of 278 metres, a width of 38 metres, and accommodation for 2,770 passengers and 1,160 crewmembers.

Scarlet Lady is scheduled for delivery at the beginning of 2020. Three other ships in the same series will be delivered at a rate of one per year during the 2021-2023 timeframe.
