Germany's TUI Cruises flagship New Mein Schiff 1 has been delivered by Meyer Turku shipyard.
An evolution of Mein Schiff 6, the 315-metre by 36-metre cruise ship accommodates 3,132 passengers in 1,437 cabins. The 111,500GT vessel has a 1,092-strong crew.
Featuring a 10 per cent energy-efficiency improvement compared to last year's Mein Schiff 6, New Mein Schiff 1 is equipped with catalytic converters for the main and auxiliary engines.
New Mein Schiff 2 is already under construction and another sister ship Mein Schiff 7 has been ordered for delivery in 2023.
New Mein Schiff 1 will sail to Hamburg to be christened on May 11. She will begin operations shortly after.
