SunStone Ships has placed an order for another two Infinity class vessels.
These yet-unnamed vessels constitute the fourth and fifth vessels in the class ordered by SunStone from China Merchants Heavy Industry.
The Infinity class vessels are 104 metres long and 18 metres wide with a draught of 5.1 metres. They feature a passenger capacity of between 130 and 200 and a crew capacity of between 85 and 115.
The vessels are Ice class 1A, Polar Code 6 and are being built with safe return to port, dynamic positioning, and zero speed stabilisers.
Current Infinity class newbuilds under way include Greg Mortimer, Ocean Victory, and Ocean Explorer. These three vessels are scheduled to be delivered between August 2019 and May 2022.
