Silversea Cruises has awarded Fincantieri with a €320 million (US$381.2 million) order for a third cruise ship of the Silver Muse class.
Named Silver Dawn, the new 212.8-metre by 27-metre vessel will be a sister ship of Silversea's flagship, Silver Muse, which was launched from the Fincantieri shipyard of Sestri Ponente (Genoa) in April 2017.
The 40,700GT vessels have a capacity to accommodate 596 passengers on board.
Delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021.
The order comes just months after the cruise line signed a contract with Fincantieri for the construction of Silver Moon, which is due to be delivered in 2020.
