Princess Cruises took delivery of its newest cruise ship, the 4,300-guest Sun Princess, in a ceremony on Wednesday, February 14.
Built by Fincantieri of Italy, the vessel belongs to the Sphere-class ships ordered by Princess Cruises.
The newbuild boasts numerous facilities distributed across 20 decks. Ten of the decks house the 2,162 guest cabins, which also include over 1,500 balcony staterooms.
Power will be provided by dual-fuel engines that can also run on LNG.
The ship is scheduled to depart Rome on its maiden voyage on February 28.
