German shipbuilder Meyer Werft has delivered the 167,800GT cruise ship Norwegian Bliss to Norwegian Cruise Line at Bremerhaven.
The delivery of the 333.4-metre by 41.4-metre vessel followed extensive testing of all machinery and systems, sea trials and intensive crew training at sea and in the Dutch port of Eemshaven.
The third vessel in the Breakaway Plus-class measures 329.7 metres by 41.4 metres and accommodates 4,000 guests and 1,700 crew.
The 167,800GT vessel with hull artwork by Wyland features a large go-kart track and pool with waterslide.
The energy-efficient vessel includes an electric pod propulsion drive, improved hydrodynamics, heat recovery and extensive water cleaning systems.
Norwegian Bliss will depart for Southampton, where the ship will be presented to the public before the ship is christened on May 30 in her homeport of Seattle.
