MSC Cruises takes delivery of LNG-powered ship

MSC Cruises took delivery of a new LNG-powered cruise ship from French builder Chantier de l'Atlantique on Monday, February 1.

The 331- by 16-metre MSC Virtuosa boasts onboard facilities including 190 family cabins, 21 bars, nine restaurants, five swimming pools, and a 945-seat theatre.

The ship will be homeported in Kiel and will sail on its inaugural voyage on April 16. Its itineraries will include three-, four-, and 10-night cruises in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
