Meyer Werft cuts steel for Saga Cruises’ Spirit of Adventure

Meyer Werft cut the first steel of Spirit of Adventure, a cruise ship ordered by UK-based Saga Cruises, on Wednesday, March 27.

The ship is the second vessel ordered by Saga Cruises from Meyer Werft and will be delivered in the summer of 2020.

Like its identical sister ship Spirit of Discovery, Spirit of Adventure will have an LOA of 236 metres, a width of 31.2 metres, and accommodation for up to 999 passengers.
