Meyer Werft cuts steel for AIDA Cruises’ second LNG-fueled ship

Meyer Werft has held a steel-cutting ceremony to mark the start of construction of a second vessel in a series for AIDA Cruises.

Like sister vessel AIDAnova which was delivered in 2018, the second vessel will have an LNG propulsion system and 2,600 cabins.

Delivery is planned for the spring of 2021.
