A steel-cutting ceremony recently held at Finland's Meyer Turku marked the start of construction a new vessel ordered by Costa Cruises.
The future Costa Toscana is the second vessel in a series that Costa Cruises has ordered from Meyer Turku. Delivery is scheduled for 2021, two years after the hand-over of the first vessel.
Like identical sister Costa Smeralda, Costa Toscana will have LNG-fueled engines and 2,600 staterooms.
