A keel-laying ceremony was recently held at Neptun Werft for AIDAcosma, a new cruise ship ordered by Germany's AIDA Cruises.

Once completed, the vessel will have a length of 337 metres, a beam of 42 metres, and 2,600 staterooms. It will be AIDA Cruises' second vessel to be powered by LNG after sister ship AIDAnova, which was delivered in 2018.

AIDAcosma is scheduled to be delivered by Meyer Werft in the spring of 2021.
