Fridtjof Nansen, Hurtigruten's second hybrid battery powered expedition cruise ship, recently completed a week of sea trials off the Norwegian coast.
The vessel is presently at Kleven Verft's facilities undergoing final outfitting prior to delivery, which is expected before the end of 2019. It is scheduled to sail on its inaugural cruise out of Hamburg in April 2020.
Throughout March, prior to the commencement of its inaugural cruise, Fridtjof Nansen will sail out of London, Liverpool, and Portsmouth on a number of "pre-inaugural" four- and five-night cruises reserved for special guests only.
