Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has confirmed that it will retire two older vessels as it prepares to welcome a new pair of ships into the fleet.
The ex-Holland America Line vessels Amsterdam and Rotterdam will be renamed Bolette and Borealis and will take over the existing itineraries for Boudicca and Black Watch, which are scheduled to be retired prior to the start of the 2021 cruise season.
Both Bolette and Borealis have accommodations for nearly 1,400 guests and are expected to increase Fred Olsen's overall capacity by around 30 per cent.
