Celebrity Cruises took delivery of Celebrity Edge, the first of a planned four Edge Class cruise ships, on Wednesday, October 31.
The vessel was constructed over a span of 24 months at the Saint-Nazaire facility of French shipbuilder Chantiers de l'Atlantique.
It has a length of 306 metres, a width of 39 metres, a draught of 8.4 metres, a passenger capacity of 2,908, and a gross displacement of 130,818 tonnes.
Celebrity Edge's maiden voyage is scheduled for December 9, 2018.
