Fincantieri launches third Seaside-class ship for MSC Cruises

Fincantieri floated out a new cruise ship at its shipyard in Monfalcone on Thursday, August 20.

MSC Seashore will be MSC Cruises' longest ship with a length of 339 metres and capacity for 5,877 guests. It will also be the third of a planned four Seaside-class ships to be ordered by MSC Cruises from Fincantieri.

The vessel will be fitted with shore charging equipment and a hybrid exhaust gas cleaning system expected to remove up to 98 per cent of SOx from its emissions.

Delivery of MSC Seashore is scheduled for July 2021.
