Fincantieri held a steel-cutting ceremony for the third Pinnacle-class cruise ship ordered from the company by Carnival Corporation subsidiary Holland America Line.

Like its sisters Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam which are already in service, the new ship will have a displacement of 99,500 tonnes, a length of almost 300 metres, and 1,300 cabins for accommodating up to 2,662 passengers.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2021.
