Fincantieri's shipyard in Marghera, Italy has held a traditional keel-laying ceremony for Carnival Cruise Line's third Vista-class ship.
The 133,500-tonne Carnival Panorama is scheduled to enter service in November 2019.
Accommodating 3,954 passengers, Carnival Panorama will offer many of the features introduced on Carnival Vista, which debuted in May 2016.
The second ship in the series, Carnival Horizon, is scheduled to enter service on April 2.
