Norwegian builder Kleven Verft delivered the newbuild expedition ship Fridtjof Nansen to Hurtigruten on Friday, December 20.

The 140- by 23-metre, 500-passenger vessel is a near identical sister of Roald Amundsen, which entered service with Hurtigruten earlier this year.

Fridtjof Nansen is scheduled to sail on a number of pre-inaugural voyages in March 2020 prior to its inaugural cruise set for April.
