Damen Shipyards Group has launched Swift, a new passenger vessel for UK operator Windermere Lake Cruises.
The 34-metre vessel is shorter than the two other current vessels in the Windermere fleet. This will enable it to dock at smaller jetties along its expected route.
Swift is being built by Damen on location at the Lake District National Park in the north west of England under a technical cooperation agreement with Windermere. Delivery is scheduled for mid-2020.
