UK-based Cruise and Maritime Voyages (CMV) has confirmed that the 2020 cruise season will be the last for the company's 1948-built vessel, the 550-passenger Astoria.
CMV has decided not to renew the vessel's charter for the 2021 season to make way for two new larger cruise ships that are set to join the fleet next year.
Originally delivered as Stockholm to Swedish American Line, Astoria is the oldest cruise ship still in service.
